that they actually leave a book at the camps telling them what plants and wildlife are safe to eat from the local environment, and other Survival info.
Not only were these people too dumb to know the answer to this most basic of basic Survival knowledge, but they were too lazy to crack the book and learn Survival information handed to them on a silver platter at their camp, where they sit around most of the day doing nothing.
Thank you Survivor producers for including this as part of the game. It showed me a lot about these folks. I'm guessing the Survivor producers noticed how lazy Survivor RI Island Survivors were, and decided to make this explicit this season.
