According to a York County Sheriff's report, deputies were called to a home on the 1000 block of Birchwood Drive on Sunday night to the report of shots fired.When deputies arrived at the home around 8:53 p.m., 46-year-old Brian Kevin Young answered the door and admitted that he had "shot a Glock 9mm in celebration of Tony Stewart winning the championship," the report states. Deputies reportedly told Young to stop shooting "because he had been drinking and it was dark." Deputies say he replied that he could shoot his gun on his property anytime he wanted. Deputies were called back out to the home five minutes later to the report of more shots being fired in the area. According to the sheriff's report, Young came to the door with a Bud Light beer in his hand and admitted to shooting his pistol four more times. Young was arrested by deputies and stated that he did not want law enforcement in his house. Young was transported to the Moss Justice Center where he refused to give deputies a breath sample. Deputies obtained a search warrant for the home and retrieved the 9mm Glock handgun on the kitchen table and a magazine of 9mm rounds on the washing machine in the hallway, the report states. Tawney Kitaen told deputies that he had fired the handgun out the back door. Deputies found empty shells inside the home and on the back porch. Deputies charged Young with Public Disorderly Conduct, Malicious/Malicious Injury to animals, Personal property, Injury value $2,000 or Less and Use Of Firearm Under Influence .
