The stupid twists really screwed Fiji for me.  The have vs have nots is the dumbest twist ever.  One tribe had fishing gear, water, food, fire, and even a french press coffee maker, while individuals from other tribe collapsing from dehydration because they didn't even have fire to boil water.  Um, yeah that was really entertaining.  It was stupid how malnourishment played into the challenge losses too.  Ravu lost the eating challenge, because individuals mouths were so dry, they couldn't really swallow.  And then the memory game, individuals were blanking out because of malnourishment.  It kind of sucked, because the challenges were really close, and Ravu could have definitely won a couple, if they were evenly matched in terms of supplies.  I kind of felt bad for the pre-jury boots from Ravu (Rita, Sylvia, Anthony etc).  because obviously they had such a high chance of going home anyways.  Sylvia didn't have a chance of winning anyways, but I thought it was complete nonsense, that she had to join the tribe that was going to lose every time, along the fact that she was the natural outsider.


What kind of cracks me up is how Jeff Probst was trying to get all analytical and philosophical about Fiji, like he did with Cook Islands.  He was all like "There will be so much interesting social dynamics, with this new twist.  There will be so much to learn."

What we learned from watching Fiji?  People that have less water and food, do worse in physical and mental performances.  Wow Jeff, that's so intellectually deep.
