Earl got little SPV, didn't he?If this is a "How Coach Lost" season, well, I've made my arguments for Albert's viability quite clear.

She's in the ruling alliance yet has been so ignored. Makes no sense for a winner. She's clearly being set up as a potential last minute doubt for Coach's win, as either 4th place finisher or runner up with a few votes. But she's not winning.Chaperone. Sistafriend. Come along.Sophie does have a story. It obviously isn't seen as the most important tale to tell this season, but it is being told. The point of her story has been explained in this very thread several times. She is a deliciously TONELESS gamebot who sees through everyone else's bullshit. She is playing the exact opposite of the way Coach is. Coach loves gray areas. He loves grey ones too. Brandon, who Sophie has been linked to several times during confessional time, sees the world in black and white. So does Sophie. She tells it like it is. While Coach tries to build Cochran up so he can win immunity (a move which would result in the exit of the one person who spoke to him on Day 1, might I add) Sophie lets Cochran know that she can't give away Upolu's gameplan. She's a straight shooter who tells Ozzy that she thinks his performance at Redemption Island was pathetic without batting an eyelash. Whether or not people will respect her for this remains to be seen, but let's stop acting like we don't know who this woman is and how she's playing the game. On other boards I frequent, people who were in the "Natalie and Ashley who?" camp last season know who Sophie is and think that she's one of the few people deserving of the title besides Coach.Considering the backlash when Natalie White beat Russell, I'd say that alone is a job well done by the editors. But that's all I'm giving those fuckers until they cut this lopsided editing bullshit. More eps like tonight's, guys. Apparently Edna and Rick are on this show too!

IAmNo4 wrote:It's clearly Coach or Sophie at this point. Brandon is an OTT joke, Rick is invisible, and Edna & Albert have both been ignored for long stretches (especially Al in two of the most important episodes of the season, also both got similar episodes where people trashed them hard -- this is worse for Albert's chances though, as he is male). I honestly understand people who don't support Sophie, and IF she wins it will indeed be a completely new winner's edit, but if this is a "Why Coach loses" season, she's the only viable option left. Probaby the most important question everyone should be asking themselves is why is she not being ignored like Nat T or Susie or Becky and getting a crappy edit, if she just coasts her way to the end and loses? Why does she get confessionals in every episode which show her observations and intelligence, whilst also at the same time ocassionally give insight into her own strategy, if she's 'just another' female runner-up/3rd placer? That's what I'm wondering.

How can you support Albert after he's been almost INV in two of the arguably most important episodes (premiere/merge), got unecesarrily bashed last eppy (they seriously could have edited Edna's comments out) AND the simple fact he's male and males have never, ever received such poor edits in the history of the game? It's one thing to support a FEMALE toneless MOR edit, but supporting a male one is really stretching it (and this is coming from an Albert fan who'd want to see him win).

Albert sucks at Survivor. Nothing he fucking tries works. He sucks at implementing his strategy, he's kinda lame at social, okay at challenges.2.) Albert is still continuously shown trying to curry favor with the jury.3.) Probst loves Coach.4.) Coach is fucking crazy and not many people like him.5.) Coach dominates endgame, putting almost every jury member in their place.6.) Coach loses Final Tribal to the perceived more likable person, Albert.7.) Probst thinks Coach deserved to win, exactly like fucking Russell.8.) Albert gets the Natalie White edit.I don't know how many more times I can say this.
