It's that time of year again... time to list your favorite songs of 2011!!!!
For me the winner is.... "Moves Like Jagger" by Maroon 5 (with Christina Aguilera). Quite simply, one of the best disco-rock pop songs ever. Also, this makes two years running that my favorite song of the year mentions Mick Jagger, which is odd because I don't even like Mick Jagger. Maybe I like the fact that these songs are almost literally dancing on the grave of classic rock - which if it isn't actually dead is most assuredly on its deathbed. Long live kitsch pop!
