I can't believe people are putting Cook Islands in the top tier of anything. I remember the good old days when the Cook Islands-Fiji year was considered the worst cycle in the show's history. Redemption Island-South Pacific is worse, obviously, but S13 and S14 should still be near the bottom of any list. I say this as a Fiji defender, as well. I think the most acceptable answer would be Amazon-Pearl Islands. China-Micronesia would also work. I'm surprised to see so much Tocantins love in this thread. Everyone hated it at the time, but it also followed three stellar seasons in a row, so maybe it was just disliked in comparison. Or perhaps it's just being viewed with kinder eyes since it was the last season before the Russell Hantz era.

CI and Fiji were never considered the worst.  Only the angry racists bitter that their race didn't justify their innate superiority hated those seasons.  Keep trolling! 

They're pretty consistently considered the worst. Fiji is, at least. Cook Islands is pretty close. Mario considers it the least funny season of all time. It barely features on the Funny 115, and for good reason. The entire cast was pretty safe and humorless. It has nothing to do with race. It was just a dull season, and almost everyone here at the time thought so.

Fiji had a better cast, but the endless twists and mean-spirited game-play turned a lot of people off. I know several friends who wanted to give up watching Survivor after that, and if you check the ranking thread, you'll find that most people have it pretty low, just above Redemption Island, which should always take the bottom spot.

stfu you lying sack of shit!  Fiji is 1 of the best seasons ever and the only morons who hate it are mostly the racists.  Mario is a loser who has way too much time on his hands churning out ghosties to masturbate to the horrendously boring early seasons because it was his first Survivor love and he's constantly being a sourpuss about all the later seasons.  His opinion is invalid, pathetic, and not worthy of consideration as is yours.  It has every fucking thing to do with race.  Fiji and Cook Islands both had amazing all star casts full of interesting personalities and I was so much more ~invested~ in those seasons than most of the other ones.  Your inability to relate to people outside your race has colored your opinions and made them awful and you really need to diaf. 

And fuck off to another planet with this bitching about mean-spirited ganeplay bullshit because there was nothing any more mean than other season and thank god there was some gameplay to watch instead of the boring ass early season Pagonging shit.  Oh yeah and you can blame yourself for the Redemption Island twists and shit because of your and other posters' constant bitching about F3 and Exile Islands and idols.  They made the format way worse and now y'll are complaining about that.
