She "guessed" at a trivia question and got lucky during a double elimination. She carried a pot of rice on her head. No surprise there, she has the biggest head I've ever seen on a female. And then Ozzy LOST the final challenge. She didn't beat him. Listen to interviews, he was MILES ahead of everyone and just flat out froze up. She drug her fat ass across the net and again got lucky. She won because she cried, and that swayed Dawn and had effects on the others. Combine that with the total douche factor of coach and the sheer unlikeability of Albert and you have yourself the Sole Survivor. Kudos to her, but let's not go making her out to something she's not. Hell, even Good Morning America didn't want to see this girl on TV.

Whenever he decided to try something harebrained, someone on Upolu had to have convinced him not to because it was only at Brandon's boot that Albert did not vote the company line. My guess is her strategy claim would be keeping Albert from following through with his schemes. Coach blew all sorts of ways. He should have told Rick before going to tribal. "Rick, I'm sorry but I'm voting you out tonight because I think you would win if we went to F3." Would Rick have voted for him? Maybe not. But by not being straight with Rick, he guaranteed Rick would never vote to give him the money. He should never have promised anything to Ozzy at all. People were saying it was Coach's game to lose and he managed to do it. I don't think that makes Sophie undeserving. But Coach had it all in front of him and could not grab hold.

It was all a show to pretend the vote was out of his hands -- same thing he did with Edna when he could barely keep the smirk off of his face when he told Edna to tell Albert & Sophie "Coach is cool" with keeping her if they were. It was an act to lobby jury votes, same as Albert pretending to want to keep Jim, then pretending to want to work with Dawn & Whitney & pretending to want to keep Cochran. I think we saw some evidence that she was making the decisions and trying to keep everyone in line--the boot of Cochran and Edna. I give credit to Coach early in the game...I think he played brilliantly through the merge, and then he started trying to play too much like Boston Rob, while attempting to maintain his whole "Honor" and "Christian Man" how he wanted to play the game. You couldn't do both. That's where he completely failed. He made promises to too many people, not only game promises, but God promises. That ruined him. And the way he approached this at FTC pretty much destroyed him. He apologized, then was unclear, then basically said he couldn't maintain his own Honor and Christian Man integrity that he based his whole game on. He showed he was a complete hypocrite, and didn't own up to it by saying "Yes, I did it, and I used it to make it this far and manipulate you." Everyone knows that Albert was sleazy. So I don't think it was a bitter jury so much as good reasons to vote against both Coach and Albert. Meanwhile, Sophie tried to appeal to the rational survivor player. She discussed what she did in the game, how she got to the end, what her strategy was, and how her challenge prowess (3 wins is 3 wins, whatever the game) helped get rid of Ozzy, which was as key to winning as getting Cochran to flip. She wasn't the greatest Survivor winner ever, but she did what she needed to do to win, and Albert and Coach screwed themselves. I don't know how anyone could compare her to Boston Rob. Boston Rob completely ran his alliance. He made everyone think they were coming up with decisions while he was the one making all of the decisions. He brought the two people to the final that he wanted to, and no one had a compelling argument. It wasn't that the other two were dispicable, just that they had no argument for why they deserved to win.

At least she played the game, unlike someone such as Blandber Brkich, whose strategy in Australia was: "agree to an alliance with the first person who offers you one. Proceed to vote the way they tell you to vote, say what they tell you to say and think what they tell you to think". It got her 6th. Her strategy in All Stars was: "agree to an alliance with the first person who offers you one. Proceed to vote the way they tell you to vote, say what they tell you to say and think what they tell you to think". She won. To me, it goes to show that she learned FECK ALL from her mistakes in Australia, and just got lucky the second time around. I'll admit Sophie disappointed me. While I was rooting for her from the previews up until the FTC, her gameplay was flawed, she didn't excite me and she made quite a few mistakes. But I'd rather see someone like her win than a lapdog with no independent thought like Amber, an insincere hypocrite like Tom or Septicemia, or someone who had to be given FOUR chances at the game and was eventually set up with a bunch of strategic retards in order to be able to win the game, like Rob.

I could see him coming back for another survivor favorites (maybe) True he probably didn't do very much strategizing even if his edit was terrible, he was also a boring person and its pretty obvious they put alot of airtime for Brandon/cocaroach to boost ratings. I hate to admit it but Coach certainly deserved the win over Sophie even if he is a douchebag.

As far as "Coach" deciding the fate of the alliance this is just pure speculation based on absolutely nothing whatsoever. There is ZERO evidence that "Coach" was the deciding factor in every vote. As far as Cochran is concerned the person most responsible for Cochran flipping was Cochran. According to Dawn, Cochran was absolutely smitten with "Coach" and couldn't wait to play with the "Dragonslayer". It didn't take much to get him to flip. As far as jury management goes it was even close, Sophie blew away both Albert and Benjamin. Even before FTC she thew Albert under the bus by letting know that Albert was a phony and was just pandering for their votes by pretending to be nice tohim. At FTC, Sophie owned her game while "Coach" and Albert did not. He had Rick, Brandon and most probably Albert willing to vote however he wanted. Ozzy and Albert voted out Sophie. It was totally Coach's call to keep Sophie. I don't know HTF people can argue that sophie was really controlling any alliance. Her only real alliance was with Albert and even that wasn't very solid. Coach could've taken anyone he wanted to the final with him, Ozzy, Brandon, Rick etc. I don't like Coach but he deserved to win, not sophie.
