Posts: 5470 (12/20/11 09:01 PM) Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	My guess is that last season, they didn't realize that the Fallen Comrades segment wouldn't fit into the finale, so they filmed it anyway and put it online in the Insider clips. This season, since they knew it wouldn't be shown on the show, they didn't film a Fallen Comrades segment, and thus they didn't make name tags for the torches. Pretty lame, if you ask me, but understandable.

They probably think about the show first. If they aren't going to need something for the show, why make it? The charity auction stuff is probably handled much later. I agree that they're going to lose a lot of money this season by not individualizing the torches, though. Even if no tags had been made, they could have at least let all the castaways sign a torch and they would have fetched more money at auction. Ozzy's torch would have likely gotten the most money.
