I just wanted to point out a couple of points. I agree it was moronic for Jeff to throw a veto (especially considering he could have been a replacement nominee). However, he had to vote to keep Shelly. Jordan/Jeff had to vote to keep Shelly in the game. Adam wouldn't flip and they were trying to keep Shelly/Adam on their side. Shelly was staying no matter how J/J voted because Daniele was the tie breaker.

For the record, I never liked Shelly before she booted Jeff. I didn't like her because all she did was trash talk all day long and I didn't even like Rachel much until the end of the game, but that doesn't mean I wanted to here Shelly constantly just trash people all day long on the feeds. Shelly threw her game away turning on J/J. I agree that both J/J probably would have beat Shelly in a final 2 vote and both would have taken each other. However, nobody else except for Adam even wanted Shelly in the final 3. Shelly can't get to the final 2, if she doesn't even make the final 3. Even Daniele and her minions didn't trust Shelly after she flipped to their side. Daniele, Kalia, and Porsche were never going to take Shelly to the final 3. They said so many times (had they all stayed together in the game).

Shelly was too blinded by her rachel hate and the fact J/J were a tight pair. Shelly turned on J/J just because Jeff wouldn't nominate Rachel (which would have been a moronic move especially with brendon gone), and the fact she was butt hurt that a dating couple wouldn't pick her for the final 2 over each other. She was too bothered by that to even look at the bigger picture. J/J were planning on taking her to the final 3 and she at least had a decent shot to beat them in some comps (especially Jordan). Shelly doesn't even have a shot at the money if she doesn't at least make it to the final 3. Shelly was too bothered by those things to even look at the bigger picture. Adam would have taken her to the final 2, but Adam was never a threat to win any comps except at the end so he was too much of a non-factor.

It's the same thing that happened with Michelle in bb11. She got mad that J/J were going to take each other over her, she forgot the bigger picture that nobody else wanted to align with her or even wanted to take her to the end for her to have a shot at the money. Yes Russell did eventually want to take her to the end but that wasn't until he was saved by Jeff's coup. Remember the week Russell was hoh Michelle/Russell were both fighting with each other.

For the record, I liked Daniele and would have been happy had she won. I didn't like her allies though because Kalia was an idiot who nominated her own ally, even if he sucked in the comps. Apparently she forgot he was still useful as a vote. I can't believe how easily the contestants forget that controlling the vote can be just as important as who is hoh. I thought Porsche deserved to win over Adam but she only wanted to hang out with Daniele because she was one of the cool girls and to a certain extent she was right about J/J being a threat to win.

It was a smart move for Daniele to target J/J eventually she just did it too soon. She got too trigger happy and she should have waited until after the jury started. J/J were not after her and would have kept Dom had she not tried to backdoor Jeff that week.
