Ozzy was great in the challenge/survival portion of the game but he made a lot of mistakes in his strategic game. Just objectively speaking. Albert should just post here at Sucks since he's taking analysis he reads here and tweeting it.

If it were up to Ozzy, Cochran would have been booted at 13, Elyse would stay, they'd win the next challenge, and a Savaii would win the game. Jim fucked that all up. Ozzy made a great move sending himself to RI to keep his tribe in it, because you cannot necessarily predict what Christine would do. Then he played the merge episode very well, by making sure his tribe had as few people pulling rocks as possible. If anything, Ozzy was too trusting, but his moves were all intellectually correct. Other people just fucked them up by being retarded AKA Jim and Cochguzzler.

He did make F3 so maybe he merits a return trip? He was a tad intellectual. But I wud bet money he banged the football babe. of this bunch if I had my druthers I'd like to see Jim return, then Dawn, then Oz. The worst wud b the roaches, Ben-glee or cockRoach. Their 15 minutes of fame are done. Heard no RI next time. That might mean some reward challenges. Also heard an allstars - they usually film at same location and heard it is same place so the returnees can beef up on all sorts of local color/ indigenous food. Would love to see a guy take down a boar! We are talking neanderthal here/

Like Coach/boston rob/sophie etc etc etc did? He had no real allies on Savaii except Elyse who the rest of the tribe realized needed to go to weaken ozzy further. he couldn't even control the first boot - semhar. also ozzy had a poor reaction to the elyse boot - albert is right about that too. also - your merge episode comment - Ozzy helped Savaii by winning one of the immunity idols. yes. How did Ozzy have no real allies? He had made a 5 person alliance where he should have been closest to both Elyse and Keith. He also had played a good social game with Dawn by being her shoulder to cry on early on. There's no reason Jim should have screwed thei 3+2 alliance over "to weaken Ozzy" pre-merge, especially when Jim felt he was the architect of that alliance. He made a stupid move and booted a loyal and strong ally to keep a weak, neurotic flipper who cost them the next challenge and the game. Ozzy did everything correct that he could have.

It's like arguing Boston Rob fucked up during HvV when it's Tyson's fault he voted himself up and screwed up getting Russell or Parvati out.

I think Rob more screwed up by playing a bad social game with Coach and Jerri, while surprisingly Russell was willing to give them both what they wanted. He played King Aerthur games with Coach while Rob refused to sharpen him, and he swore to protect Jerri while she was frustrated by Rob's buddy system. Tyson screwed that up first, but Rob had it coming.

Remove this ad I'm not a fan or hater of either Rob or Ozzy. Rob immediately was able to establish himself in the Villains tribe by earning the complete trust of Sandra, Courtney, and Tyson, and Coach. Tyson helped bring in Coach and thus Jerri. Ozzy was being used by his tribe as a powerful challenge force and provider but no one wanted to go to the end with Ozzy - why would they - he's the anti-goat. His allies were cut and Savaii all wanted to get rid of him at some point. I'm not blaming him for this - he is a returnee with a huge target on his back - but its not like other returnees were unable to establish control (coach, guatemala steph, boston rob). Dawn did in fact get good comfort from Ozzy but it just didn't work to gain her trust as an ally - as we saw in the show. Neither Keith, Jim, or Cochran were shown to really trust or want to keep him long-term. He also made the strategic mistake of asking why Coach wouldn't get id of Albert. Ozzy was not a good game-player this season. Luckily his other skills are enormously strong and he was able to use RI to his advantage and almost won the game. and regarding discussion of the merge and the immunity idol - i highly doubt ozzy was making those decisions alone. we saw jim confessionals regarding the numbers.
