Remove this ad I liked Forbrydelsen 2 better because the ending made sense, unlike the first series. It (the first series) was well-acted, and they kept it interesting, but it all fell apart at the end. The 2nd series was much tighter and didn't include a million red herrings that never went anywhere, and the cops had to be stupid to keep the whole thing going for 20 eps.

I thought it was all only one season! Well, at least they solved who killed Nanna but this is ridiculous! And I was thinking near the end of the last episode, they're going to have to explain everything else really fast now. Now I have to decide whether I want to have to keep ignoring other posts in this thread to avoid possible spoilers until I watch those other seasons too which will take me months at least, or just give up, get spoiled and read everything. I may post more of my thoughts on season one of Forbrydelsen later, but for now I just had to come here and say WTF. mad*

It promised everything and delivered absolutely nothing. The show had already self destructed at least a season earlier, but even so it was a total waste of 2 hours.

Bonus points to showrunner Veena Sud for her tone-deaf interviews in the wake of the head-spinningly awful finale.

No. What made me, and many others, upset, was that the show had, piece by piece, fallen apart in every other way - it was a character-driven drama without interesting characters and a mystery series that only seemed to have one move (red herring endings that were immediately revealed as such the following week) - until the point where we realized that the only thing that would make the time wasted on the previous hours worth it would be to find out who the killer was, and "The Killing" couldn't even do that right. A near-total misfire, outside of some good performances in service of mostly one-note characters.

I remember watching this show, and wanting to jump off my roof. Literally. Please tell me I'm not the only one who found this boring, horrid, and just bad. The characters had NO personality. All one sided and weren't likable at all. I personally didn't "root" for one character or care about anyone. The fail twists "The Cage, the clearly red herring black guy, the cop faking the picture". NO FUCKING SHIT. Did anyone seriously think the politician was the killer (I don't remember any of their names because I've blanked most of the show out of memory.) The main bitch was horribly dumb and EVERY, LITERALLY EVERY episode would say "I'm leaving tonight, okay after this I'm gone, I'm leaving after this." MAKE UP YOUR MIND. And her even dumber son tells her "NO, we're not going" so she stays. WTF? GROW SOME BALLS. She's suppose to be the likable heroine, but I hated her most of all. And they get Callum Keith Rennie, a well respected actor, and use him as a minor role? What?? No one on this show is likable, this show fucking sucks and I wanted to kick a baby after the finale. GREAT CLIFFHANGER lol JK it's been done to death and you stole it from "Who shot JR?" they first ever big cliffhanger. Someone gets shot and the screen cuts to black at the gunshot? SO ORIGINAL AMC. Everyone claims it's better than The Walking Dead...yeah, no. The Walking Dead>This Fucking Shit Not only that, it's Seattle. The most boring setting ever, even for a "thriller, depressing" type show. If this shit doesn't end this season, I will kill the writers. You can hold me to this. I will look up who the killer is, and that is it.
