The only place I shop is Buckle, so I wanted to check it out. I should also clean out my closet... Are they all mexicano over there, cause I don't want beddazelled (originally 120 dollars) flip flops either. There is this place called Renaissance in town here that is supposed to have a bit more expensive used clothes. If I had any friends, I would probe share clothes with them...

When she is home from college, she goes to whatever store needs her. They are franchized. She buys all her clothes there and she always looks good.

And the Baubles and Beads consignment store near River Oaks in Houston has all sorts of upscale designer clothes in it (those River Oaks women can only wear an outfit once to a party)

As for buying or wearing something second hand from a stranger it's simply out of the question. Borrowing from a close friend or sister for a special occasion might be done. Lending under the same circumstance is ok. As for an organized clothes swap, it soundsas retarded as a cookie swap.

I think that's a girl thing. She does not swap with friends or strangers. I would never swap with my brother or friends. Well, I might borrow one of my dad's ties. He has a good collection going.

I don't think I'm above it, but just very germaphobic about it. If it's a friend or relative, then yeah I could wear it with no problem. I almost never get the opportunity to do that though.

Shit like that knocked you down 10 points on the popularity scale, which I wasn't willing to risk twice. I loved that sweater though. They just don't make insewn pearl garments like that anymore.

Even areas that had not had a store placed yet had been bought. They do a huge business and are franchised by the same people who do merry go round and once upon a time. Their business model is beautiful. Especially in this economy. I went to several stores and entered them to watch the traffic. I watched as one affluent family after another pulled up and dropped off clothes to be priced. They do not buy just anything, and their is a program to price what is selling. I was quite impressed and wish I could have gotten in on the action here locally.

I went to check on my "progress" after 45 minutes, and my shit was still in the same place where they put it when they dropped it off, with 9 bins still ahead of mine. The douchebag employees were just standing around talking. I told them to give me back my stuff. It is an awful place.

That is the one I went to to check out, and they had people leave their clothes to come back another time for a price. I also seen two teens come in and be handed back all of their stuff and told they didn't want any of it. Don't act like you have been in every store and know what they do dummy.
