Remove this ad ^The debate with Elisabeth and Joy wasn't that bad!!! It was just a normal, not personal debate. There have been way worse debates than that. I honestly think most of these 'debates' are planned out.

Joy was not going to let her get away with it and insisted on making her point. Whether Joy or Liz were right or wrong it is Elisabeth thinking that by not allowing someone else to present their viewpoint that she is right that is obnoxious. I like that Joy did not back down.

Her comments on gays in the military and gay marriages are not as conservative as they should be. Her tune will most likely change once a Republican enters the White House.

I don't think she realizes there is not a scheduling conflict in appearing on Jay Leno's show right after appearing on The View. Unless of course she is that dense.

Unless of course she is that dense. Well, The View is taped in New York (at 11 AM EST) and Leno is taped in L.A. (at 5 PM PST). So yes technically. However, flight schedules, airport security, being up at 4 AM EST (that's what time they said the co-hosts wake-up during one their behind the view segments) and then taping at 5pm PST (which is 8 PM EST) might not have worked out so well for Sherri.

XX I hadn't watched for a while and decided to tune in on Monday. I lasted about ten minutes. Babs never shut her yap. Sherri and Liz were both talking at the same time, trying to talk over Babs, who wasn't having any of that. She waved them off with her dismissive hand gesture. She allowed Joy to get a couple of her one liner, corny jokes out, and Babwa took the floor back immediately. Whoopi looked checked out. I'm sure she was high, I would be too. When Babs is on, try to just watch Whoopi and her facial expressions when Babs is on her soapbox. Every Sherri's expressions illustrate "die, bitch, die" when Babs goes on and on.

Posts: 3488 (01/18/12 06:47 PM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Last time I watched with any kind of regularity, Babs had taken over all the interviewing of the guests and Whoopi was sitting at the end of the couch with her back pratically turned all the way around from Barbara and the guest, looking bored and perturbed. Whoopi was supposed to head the panel and her duties were to lead hot topics and do most of the interviewing of the guests like Meredeth and Rosie used to do. I don't think Whoopi is happy. I wouldn't be surprised if she took a powder when her contract is up.
