I think it can be explained away by Madonna getting ready to tour again but I think it's because of the beg for mercy album. I think it's a shame that something as lame as half-finished songs from 2005/2006 seem to have ruined what looked like a close personal and professional relationship between Adam and Monte. I'm not sorry he's gone as I was never that impressed with him as a guitar player. I'm interested to see what Tommy can do on lead guitar since i know that's what he originally auditioned for but Monte was already in place so he learned bass.

He got to tour, on TV, etc. because of Adam and his successes, not because of any Adam/Monte collab, and I think he probably wants more attention than he was getting. He has more input on that old album, so he sold Adam out just to get his own name out there. I think therefore its pretty obvious that Monte cares about Monte. Its only human, but his methods leave a lot to be desired. Adam was very loyal to him. And in return he wasn't to Adam. A real shame.
