Because only Sheldon would buy his girlfriend a tiara. I didn't start watching this show until last spring when I caught it in reruns. I don't know what took me so long, I watch it in syndication 3x a week and my own personal Sheldon loved it when we picked him up at the airport and the first thing his siblings said when he came through the gate was "BAZINGA!".

But when are they going to start using Raj more? Next week's looks goooood.

I know this is a comedy but that relationship still makes no sense to me. I actually liked Howard better when he was single, desperate and super-horny. It is amazing how the writers manage to keep Sheldon's character obnoxious and selfish even in a relationship, yet he found a way to 'set things right' with Amy without actually addressing their issues (with the help of his friends, of course). One step forward, two steps back in the character's growth. Just what you would expect from Sheldon. When they brought AFF into the show I didn't think I would like her. But I was wrong, she is really good on the show. I agree with you 100% in regards to Howard. I wish they would break up even though I do like the Bernadette character, I just like Howard better when he is a poon hound. I am a little worried in the direction they are going to go with Sheldon. They've already butted heads about them living with mom when they're married and now about kids. he also kicked her out of bed once - although I can't remember why...anyone? Seasons four and five of BBT have been vastly inferior to the earlier three and to Community as a whole. If we rank Seasons as a whole 1. Big Bang Theory -Season 2 2. Community Season 2 3. Yeah, the first few episodes this season weren't good, but they were still better than some of TBBT episodes this season.

That's not a third. Even a poor (by its own standards) ep of Community is better in terms of what it offers from a writing and dialogue perspective than 99 percent of what's on TV. Have you rewatched season 1 of Community recently? I think you would be pretty surprised how good it is. It's my favorite season personally.

I watched Season 1 last month Season 1 101, 102, 103, 105, 106, 108, 111, 115, 118, 124, Season 2 226, 230, 235, 237, 243, 245, 247 Season 3 350, 351, 355 That's 1/3 of the episodes, some are merely mediocre others misguided but the principle remains the same. Community is an uneven show, it's gotten better over time., mostly by willing to admit their mistakes and rebuild certain characters. Now comparing to the Big Bang Theory Season 1 101, 103, 105, 108, 114 Season 2 201, 226, 237, 239 Season 3 342, 347, 350, While I will grant you that the highs of Community are better than Big Bang Theory, BBT has more even tone and fewer mistakes.

Season 2 was the best imo. I really, really like what the girls on this show have added though (minus Priya).

The jokes are extremely repetitive - you can't just insert a random reference and call it 'smart'. There is absolutely a place for this kind of show and it can be enjoyable but I can't even begin to understand you trying to say its better than Community. We can agree to disagree. One of my good friends thinks Two and a half men is better than Seinfeld. Sometimes people just have different tastes I guess. Leaving thread now, sorry for trolling. It is just odd to see him as the 'straight guy', i.e. setting up the jokes or funny situations for another character, like in the past two episodes. He's been given a more subdued role this season and we're used to a lot of physical comedy from him.

Oh god, Leonard is such a pathetic spineless asshole and I physically cringe and sometimes fast forward through scenes where he is happy! >=\| The worst was that episode where Sheldon loaned Penny some money and douchefuck Leonard had to manipulate and guilt his friends into putting themselves in danger to get back bail money from Penny's ex despite her never asking him to help out. All because he didn't have the balls to express his feelings to her directly. I want to punch that smug squint off his face with shit stained gloves.
