I think the one who is really depressed is Dena, it seems like she is always trying to act happy, I don't think the show is good for her. I think the others on the show get something out of it, Dena, not so much.

However, in the light of day and once she sobered up, she realized that MOST LIKELY they caught her on tape taking the chain, so she had no choice but to return it. She'd rather return it and try to pawn it off as a "drunk mistake" than have the cops show up at her door for theft.

She was probably bragging to her girls and the smart, fat one put down her doritos and reminded her that she was fucked on camera and was caught stealing. And can you imagine what would happen if she is out in public wearing the chain or some unsuspecting guy she gave it to is out at the same places all the guidos and juice heads frequent and gets confronted for "stealing" the necklace.
