I wonder if it's the same composer doing the music for this who did Lost.

I thought it was good but not mind-blowing. Slightly hokey in places, but some of the flashbacks were interesting and some of the twists were great (like her grandfather being a prisoner and having resurfaced; the final twist in episode 2, etc)

Will some of the guards reappear too, I wonder? Will they be evil as well?

The fact that Jack wasn't confounded by where and when he was also confused me a bit. It's like he did know something, just maybe not everything.

Also, was that a gunshot in the very beginning that the girl heard before she went to find Jack in the closet or whatever?

Noticed a couple other Lost references (Missed the Kelvin thing) -- Garcia's character wrote a book called "Alcatraz by the Numbers," hahaha, and one scene took place in what he said was called "The Barracks." And several numbers things, like the key Jack got had a No. 8 on it.

Oh, was it odd that all the flashbacks took place in 1960 but the "event" took place in 1963?
