I hated Kristin Bell and her wonky eye the least and hated the ex-wife the most. Actually, seething hatred for the ex-wife. What a bitch. And it's bad enough that they let their son run around in a skirt but no one has an issue with it? C'MON. This show's only redeeming quality was that they almost showed Bethany Van Nuys partially nude in the lesbian bathroom scene. If she was a recurring character, I might tune in again but she's not so I won't.

Remove this ad Well we know we'll see her at least in lingerie, so there's that to look forward to. The second ep warmed my opinion a little bit. The guy pretending to seduce Kat Deeley and the other guy in danger of losing the bet conceding it by dropping into her character -- "from the Midlands, actually" -- I thought was inspired.

Maybe that's it, and that's a good guess. I was willing to give this show a fair shot, as it's new, but all the characters are completely repulsive. No one is likable and none of them have any redeeming qualities. Everyone is a douche and the show tries waaaaay too hard to be edgy. Someone on avclub commented that it was the worse mix of Entourage and Californication. They were right. I'm out. I'm trusting you guys to let me know if this show gets better, but I don't think it will. Sorry, Jean-Realphio and Veronica Mars. I love you, but not in this.

Not at all. It's annoying as shit. The only person who could pull off the freezing of time was Zack Morris. Even Sex and the City figured out that was a stupid thing in the first few episodes, as Carrie Bradshaw did it too, and it didn't go over well. It's off-putting and insulting to viewers, to be honest. It's also lazy writing.

Remove this ad I think what did it for me in this episode was the pseudo-secondary story about the guy hooking up with a tranny. I just stared in disbelief that the writers thought that John Raffio's inane banter and attempts to publicly embarrass his friend would be in any way funny. Are these guys in high school? The humor of this show can be summed up in one word: puerile.
