Amber had some personality - her tears and sensitivity during Jenna's quit was surprising and her greatest moment for me. Plus, every red-blooded American male who watched ASS wanted to be Rob and marry Amber, and I'm a fucking softie so I actually enjoyed their romance story. The shit someone said earlier about her having this story about being a hypocritical backstabbing christian was true but de-emphasized in the edit, and she really was just this stale bland UTR story with no real personal moments. Sean, the great character that he is, had all of the "blackness" story time, and Paschal + Neleh, Kathy being a star and Paschal + Sean were the bigger stories of the post-merge. Every time Vecepia comes on screen, I either want to slap her in the face for being so self-righteous or pour myself a cup of coffee to keep myself from falling asleep.

Of course that's not to say every winner is boring since while we have bores like Vecepia, Aras, Sophie, etc, we also have some great characters who won (Richard, Sandra, and Boston Rob to name a few). IMO Sophie is the boringest winner. Amber at least seemed friendly and likable to be around, even if she wasn't super exciting to watch. Sophie seems like she'd also be really boring to be around.

However, I agree, BRob in RI was yawn but BRob in ASS was OMG fans self.
