I think they're trading off their looks more than their ability ... e.g., the incorrectly measured stove, the f'ed up red upholstery, the cafe table for a family of six, the crazy cutting board, the orange cabinets with the red backsplash, the dining room table ... and those are just off the top of my head. They should hire a professional designer to help them. That said, I've watched every episode. I don't know the other show you mentioned.

It appears they are down to the "show 3 properties, pick the best" so why would this be a separate show from regular house hunters, or even "my first place". I think the new host for this show is just too pushy and her acting is terrible.

I don't know the other show you mentioned.I think I've only seen two shows and none of the things you've mentioned were on either of them. I just watched one where they put in a continuous 15 foot stainless counter in the kitchen and it looked really nice. The layout was much better than what was in there before. I'll have to wait to see what other 'designs' come up. How long has the show been on in the States? The other show is called Brothers on call. I saw the advertisement for it again tonight but still don't know which channels I was on!

Any time my sister and I would walk around NYC, we'd always wonder what the apartments around Central Park looked like on the inside. This program shows us. I love it. Selling LA, on the other hand, now THAT ones annoys me.I feel the same way. (I think I called them the Kleins earlier). Mom is a wrinkled old shrew, but she has an attractiveness about her that I like. Both of the daughters are good-looking, but you know they are going to look exactly like mumsy down the road. I don't even think that I could afford the real estate taxes on any of these apartments in NY. How can people live there?

Bummed they got a new host for Property Virgins

However, that is kind of the premise (OTT) so I keep it in mind. One thing that bothers me is I've now seen multiple episodes of this (or I Hate My Bath - I get them confused) where people want coffee makers in the bathroom. I so don't want any food or drink in there. Is that just me who thinks it's gross?
