Yeah, I agree, i think she's hardly mentioned pass book 4. So they might be writing her out of the show also fun fact. I'm a newbie to TB and did a marathon of the first 3 seasons over the holidays, managed to PVR the last 4 episodes of season 4 and can't find ANYWHERE the first part of it except on HBO, which due to my geographic location (Canada) won't let me watch!!

Also her hair style doesn't look good at all. I don't understand. I think she is one of the most beautiful women in the world. Why does she look so bad in those pix? If you had to select the one person who is most in need of a karmic lesson from the universe as to some understanding about being a vampire, who would that be? Who is the one person who - more so than any other - needs to "walk a mile in the shoes of a vampire"? It seems to me, that it would be either Hoyt's mamma or Arlene Fowler. Personally, I think if Arlene were to become a vampire, it would initiate a whole new chapter in this story. Unfortunately, I guess the producers can't really just go ahead and make !@%$!$$ changes to the story line - when there was a book written long before filming of the story ever began. But, becoming a vampire would probably be a real shock to the system for Arlene and her family (so to speak). I'm thinking it would just smarten her right up. It would give her an entirely new perspective on life in Bon Temps.
