Remove this ad If the TV series gets to ASOS, there's no way it can't be renewed for another season, ASOS is the best part of it, but after that with AFFC the rating will drop unless they combine both AFFC/ADWD to prevent the snooze fest.

Posts: 5615 (01/27/12 11:07 AM) Reply Quote More Recent Posts	there are rumors that HBO has unofficially given D and D (the creators of the show) the go ahead on more seasons and production has informed the cast and crew that there will be a longer shooting schedule next year because there are plans to shoot season 3 and 4 together, back to back. It would be a way to save money. The renewal of the show right now is largely a formality. Its a huge cultural hit and is exactly the type of thing HBO loves to have on their roster. HBO usually announces the renewal for its shows the day after the premiere so we can expect a season 3 (And maybe 4) announcement on April 2nd (hopefully)!! but yeah the creators have said they definitely plan on combining AFFC and ADWD - it wouldn't work to do a season on just AFFC with half or more of the cast missing. It will be very interesting as we move forward to see how they split the storyline.

I don't see how they would shoot 3 and 4 back to back when part of the cast will die in 3 and part of the cast isn't even in 4. I still hope they split ASOS into two seasons, the first one ending with the Red Wedding, and then have AFFC/ ADWD split chronologically instead of by characters. I was thinking about the ACOK premiere and getting excited this week. The two things I most want to be amazing are Renly's death and Bran/ Rickon's fooled death. I hope hope hope that they make us think Bran/ Rickon are dead until the final moments of the season.

I really am interested in how they change it up with the lack of Reed's. Looking back over the cast of S1/ casting news, it made me terribly sad about Doreah's storyline in ACOK. I really hope they change it because I love that actress.
