When I joined FORT during the first season of "The Bachelorette", it was a fairly new start-up called, "Friends of Reality TV". I joined there after getting banned by Miss Ali on TWOP. Memories! What I like most about "Sucks" is that you have to be really, really offensive to get infractions. I am not sure what you have to do to get banned (and I don't want to find out).

I would probably last a day over at newFORT if I started posting. SG: I THINK that's what happened, who knows for sure with all those crazy fraus. Every time a really good fight started they were right there to nip it in the bud. They made an announcement not long after Brad's season finished airing, that they would no longer allow sleuthing or spoiling in that forum, and Fort2 was born, and everyone went there, so they could continue their obsession.

How can it be an obsession (other than maybe talking about spoilers and trying not to believe the ones you don't like)? I could understand all the sleuthing they did in seasons past but now that Reality Steve posts the spoilers practically before the season starts, it's all about just watching the craziness and the edit the producers give (or don't give) the final people.

They had all these theories about "love" and why it would or would not work out. They always knew what the bachelors and whoreettes were feeling. They were creaming their panties over this guy Reed- they all wanted to do him.

Posts: 5138 02/22/12 04:06 PM Registered user Reply Quote More Recent Posts	I might be imagining this, but wasn't the whole Chantal vs Emily debate in part due to the fact that RS said it was Chantal, and some of them figured out it was Emily from their ~~stalking~~ err sleuthing. I think that's in part why they stopped with the spoilers, they wanted to get back to the good old days of sleuthing.

He's no prize. But I'm not sure that was completely the case. Ashley's hilarious photo recaps noted that Ben had never open mouth kissed Kacie (and had done so with Coutrney, Lindzi & Nicky plus others no longer in the mix). So maybe he just brought her along because she was fun to be around and had the decency to cut her loose. Sucksters may not agree with the values Kacie's parents hold but there are a lot of people in the country who share them. I liked that they told Ben what they thought and didn't go along with the whole "ooh, this is for TV so we should say how wonderful this doofus with the bad hair is and give our blessing to someone who's had all of 3 dates with our daughter while simultaneously dating several other women" party line like the other parents. The show is a farce as far as finding true love and they didn't pretend it wasn't. Whether or not Kacie shares her parents' values is an open question, but if she does and wants to find a guy who also shares those values she will have some good choices so long as she doesn't look for them on a reality TV dating show.

Because it's the process that dooms these couples. They not only start out with a relationship that's not equal at all with their partner when he's kissing other women but they then have to watch the whole thing over again on TV including the person they're with professing to love someone else AND saying that it was so hard to decide.

They had a disclaimer on Brad's board - basically they said that the mods were tired babysitting the mean girls and couldn't take it anymore. FORT hasn't allowed any sleuthing or spoilers since Brad's season - i'm not even sure if they have a Ben site - do they? From what I remember what Ash's FORT site looked like it was basically contestant and episode threads - absolutely zero spoilers/sluething.

Currently, it has spawned three marriages and seven couples. I think it's because if someone sees you at your worst and is accepting, then things can only get better. Whereas on the Bachelor/ette, you see someone at their "level best" and then it is down hill from there.
