I've ranked Scream characters before, but I can't remember right now. Jennifer, Jill and Billy would replace Gale, Mrs. Loomis and Tatum in my Top 6 overall. Kirby used to be my #3 all time but she's gone down after like 50 rewatches.

Trevor went waaaay up with my Scream 4 rewatches. I had him in like the bottom 5 or something in my original ranking right after I saw the film. I thought he was thinly written and OTTN. But then there were so many adorbzie things that came up in the rewatch such as "no match like ninja baby" and his sexual tension with Robbie (all the way into the end credit screen sharing ).

But Neve being preggers is 9 months + 3 recovery at least = at least a year before anything could be filmed. I think four was a good ending but I'm curious as to what Kevin has planned for five. I loved Robbie though plus he was cute. This has already been discussed on other boards to death but do you think he was gay?

He has two different shows going on right now so I can understand. And either Robbie was or Charlie. The look in the Film Club scene was one thing. The the whole "I'm Gay" may have been a joke but Idk. I think he was.

Without Kevin I'm not sure I would want them to continue with the films; I mean I would say out of all four films three is by far the weakest. Yeah I think Robbie was too. I wonder if they say anything in the commentary during that scene to provide a direct answer.

Shhooo adorkable! <3 It breaks my heart seeing how he kinda cowered with his hands cringed from the moment ghostface attacks him. He was too timid to fight back. =\ What an angel! He also sounded super gay when he said, "Oh mah gawd, there's a harmless character standing right behind the fridge!"

She put up more of a fight which personally makes the movie more entertaining. It would have been more an homage to the original if she would have pulled ghostface's mask off right before she bites it though. I actually started to watch the commentary the other day and Wes Craven was like we reshot this to make it more scarier and it kinda sucks the one actress (her name escapes me and it's 3 am) scenes got cut but whatever. Haha it made me laugh.

I think Jenny's original death would have been left without music if it had made it but they would probably score something over Marnie's short chase. Lol, poor Marnie... whoever did the rewrite even rubbed it in with the "cutting room floor" line. The hospital ending was probably written to be a DVD special feature or something seeing as Sidney called it an alternate ending.

Posts: 4026 01/14/13 08:17 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	Since this seems to be the official Scream thread (btw I hope this ranking gets finished someday) I thought I'd share this fan made Scream film with y'all: Spoilers about it below fyi: For a student film it actually isn't that bad. I thought it was funny that the killer did it all bc the box office of Scream 4 was "bad" and he wanted to continue the franchise. The main killer seemed waaaaaaay too obvious and when the other one was unmasked I was like who the fuck was that? It did seem a wee bit unoriginal tho with not much plot at all even tho it was as long as a film released in theaters. Plus I found the main final girl to be annoying and they really should have had a major chase scene at the end with her.

I don't think the killer thought his plan out too well because I don't see how his plan would have gotten more people interested in seeing S4. If anything, people would stay away because of the guilt factor or what have you. Still, I liked it a lot. Great job, given that this was made by high school seniors.
