Posts: 517 05/01/12 01:28 PM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	As someone who's impartial to Haley, I don't like Free that much, but I loved from what I've heard of Wasted Tears and Hit The Ground Running from the House of Blues. I think HTGR should've been her first single instead of Free. If the studio versions of WT and HTGR are as good, I may actually check out the album when it comes out. Yes, the back of the deluxe cover looks like something out of The Sandlot. The only thing that would've been better is if they had someone in the role of Squint (unless that little kid in the glasses is supposed to play the role). I would've said Stefano, but he doesn't seem to be very popular around here .

Most Haley fans think Free is one of the weaker songs, mostly because Haley had to pick it while on tour and she was a bit pigeonholed into it. Ya know, you can only do so much melodically with a song that's already been written and pre-recorded. Most people are excited for "Oh My!" which hasn't been released yet but is supposed to be the star track. Now The You're Here is pretty great, you hear that one?

Any of these songs would've been better than Free. If they had to release Free, it would've been better as either a second or third single.

Shirley Halperin of The Hollywood Reporter singled it out as the standout track, it's under three minutes (ideal for radio play), and B.o.B's blowing up right now. Most of her fans are really excited for it.
