There was nothing exceptionally revelatory that wouldn't happen at the end of a normal ep -- and this was fine for a normal ep, but not a finale. I was heartened to see Will finally facing the consequences of getting suspended. My understanding is that if there's even a hint of a lawyer being dirty, much less suspended and especially at his level, clients flee. The guy's a corner-cutting douche and I was getting sick of everyone patting him on the back like he was having to face a forced vacation when in fact he'd given the firm a big ol' black eye. Notice no resolution of the meth dealer threat, either.

How is it Jackie can steal 10K from a trust fund to buy a house and somehow it ends up okay? Is Alicia still going after her but hasn't told Peter? That is a crime, shouldn't she be prosecuted? I got that Kalinda decided to stop running but if that door opens next season and she shoots someone other than her husband I will stop watching. If Alicia goes back into the house and has dinner with Peter and her kids instead of going out to get laid now that she's child-free for the evening, I will stop watching. I really don't care about the firm and their financial problems. The story is about The Good Wife, not her office. My .02.

Posts: 11227 04/30/12 06:43 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	yup - I'm in the letdown column Was the big question that was answered that we've been asking ourselves for 3 seasons is that Kalinda is 'flexible'....?? puh-leeze. the only moments I found enjoyable was the awkwardness of Will/Alicia/Peter as witnessed by the others. Overall this season has been meh... I almost called it - I figured everyone would be back in that house. 3 out of 4 isn't bad. Jackie stole 10% of the purchase price of the home - so I'm guessing that's somewhere are $100,000. And Alicia did say she was going to sue Jackie - whether or not she follows through remains to be seen. But that's s/l I'd love to see them explore next season = might help bring some oomph back into this series. I do love Martha Plimpton, but I'm tired of the Fox character. to me, he made her appearance less wonderful. But I didn't see the bait and switch coming, that was unexpected.

FWIW, the schizoid lawyer that Alicia/Will used does similarly 'unconventional' things. It's all designed to throw people off kilter (kind of like asking 47 times 'what exactly do you mean/be more specific', etc) Jackie should be kissing Alicia's ass because it seems she STILL hasn't told him she robbed the trust funds. I guess Kalinda's ''secret'' is that her past is catching up to her ~ and that she decided to face it rather than run again. Not sure if Chicago/Illinois has a 'Castle Doctrine' which allows deadly harm to protect your home. Waiting to see how that works out.

I also like Will & Alicia's moment in the elevator. I love me some Mr Big but his make up person should be fired. They are making him look like a clown. Why can't Owen come back to visit his sister anymore? Kalinda's husband storyline seems interesting. I am hoping and can't wait for if the writers ever go "flexible" with Kalinda and Alicia ;) That'd be hot! Edelstein is a prick anyways.. good riddance!

Posts: 4445 06/15/12 11:04 AM Reply Quote More Recent Posts	So last night I met Julianna at a Broadway premiere I was excited enough to get the photo but she was just hanging out at the bar like everyone else and no one was talking to her so I went right up and said hi. We chatted for a few minutes and I told her how much I love The Good Wife and wished her luck at the Emmys this year. Her response was"no way I win again". I asked why and she said "it's very difficult to win two years in a row". I told her she will be very surprised then and to remember what I said when she was accepting the award. Then I told her about our little forum here and she was so interested she jotted down the info into her phone....what a trip it would be to get Julianna to post here. Oh btw, the entire time I was chatting with Julianna. Alec Baldwin was standing right next to me. What a night!!
