I share zero love for Colton, but one thing I never really understood about him was that why among other things was he also considered to be a racist? Was it only because the target he chose for his dislike and bullying was a black person or am I missing something here? Sorry if I'm missing something obvious here or if there were some cultular misunderstandings(I'm not from US and live in a country with zero history regarding racial tensions). Or was it about the housekeeper comment? I mean he is a young kid from small town in the south who went some kind of rich white kids private school, so I can't really understand why he should have black people among his friends. Or are people really supposed to live their lives in real life like they do in TV series, where you gotta have the racial diversity among the people you associate always fixed or otherwise you get stick? In hindsight I actually have some respect for him for being ballsy enough to say out things as they were and not come up with some BS lies.

Anyways I quess what I really wanted to say, was that I don't think that dude was really a racist. I think he was just a kid who made some really stupid ass comments being not really aware how politiclly incorrect they might sound and then got labeled something I very much doubt he is.

People jump to label anyone a racist, it's nothing new. Colton just wasn't smart enough to make a case of being an over the top character and so everyone just thinks he's a shithead. The only thing I'd confirm is that he's probably dumb.
