IMO, Fiji was an average season. I thought the post merge was fantastic and one of the best (except for the fucked up immunity teams twist). The way the
immunity idol was played in that season led to some very interesting moments (Edgardo boot lol. One of my fave episodes ever). Plus the whole thing with Dreamz
at the end was great as well, although his desicion majorly pissed me off.
However an amazing post merge didn't make up for what I thought was a very poor pre merge. The whole twist was very unfair and wasn't what Survivor is
about. If people wanted to live like that, they would go on Big Brother. Although I did enjoy a lot of the challenges they had (the whole slip and slide thing
with Sylvia flapping about on the floor like a moron).
Another thing I thought was bad was how I didn't hear from some of the Survivors until a few episodes in. By episode four they were all talking about
getting rid of Liliana and I was thinking when did this Liliana join the game? The only airtime she's had is two seconds in the title sequence.
So a mixture of a poor pre merge and the appearance of contestants after two or three episodes kinda outweighed the awesomeness of the post merge.
