I don't approve of or reinfornce 'majority tyranny' either, but you know damn well that there's a certain lack of kindness on this board, and running around saying "Oh, that's mean, you've offended me" whilst posting about topics that have been done to death is not only going to be unsuccessful in the long-term, it's downright irritating.

Of course I'm aware that this IS Sucks, but he apparently doesn't, since he's a nublet. I don't necessarily find it "irritating" when these kind of things pop-up though and feel the need to go on some rant about it. I just ignore the threads I don't care for, but that's just me. You can flame the guy all you want if it makes you feel better though, but I didn't like the whole, "You should conform" crap, so I spoke up

And no, this is not America. This is the internet. THEY ARE NOT THE SAME PLACE. You can't simply translate your online social networks into portions of your current physical location. Believe it or not, there ARE people outside of our very filthy and unwelcoming borders who venture across the web every once in a while, and if I was one of them I'd be perfectly offended by that statement.

Tears? I didn't think of it that way, so my bad. So I'll just rephrase that I personally think like an American and still don't care for the whole, "Change your opinions to think like us or we will not like you" crap. That attitude screams insecurity and weakness to me, because people who hate on others just for having a different opinion about a TV show is just plain narcissism of one's own personal biases and values and a desire to see his/her own opinion validated. Having that intolerant and bullying attitude personally annoys me more than any plethora of repeated threads
