I was bored by the middle episodes ( and REALLY didn't need to see granny sex! ) , but now I'm on the fence with this show. I didn't care about the characters and wanted them all dead. Now I want to see what's going to happen next. There are real possibilities for development underneath all the psychosis. While the acting has been a pleasant surprise, I have found the direction and especially the dialog to be nothing short of amazing. It is so natural, like Bergman. It moves slowly, but people are talking like real people do in real life. The bottom line is it makes me very uncomfortable to watch, so it must be doing something right.
