and lol @ everyone who thinks the cast is responsible for the low ratings. people don't watch this in the summer when there is nothing else on. why would they watch it when they have other options?

The ratings are low because CBS put this on as filler against Idol, and I agree because it is on in the winter. The summer ratings will probably be higher again. I think people also forget that BB8's ratings weren't exactly hot at the start.
