Let me guess, you're the same type of poster that complained like crazy that people like Carol, Mike and Jameka were too boring last year, right?
Personally, no, but the thing is, sleaziness =/= entertainment. A handful of 'boring' contestants can definitely feel like wastes of slots, but personally, I liked BB8. I know a lot of people hate it because it was so 'rigged,' and from that point of view, I can understand why someone wouldn't be too crazy about it. So why is it so hard to understand that something about BB9, be it the couples twist, the way the players are acting, whatever, is rubbing some viewers the wrong way just like the apparent behind-the-scenes intervention rubbed some viewers the wrong way last summer?
Or perhaps from the other side, perhaps after so many years of BB, it just doesn't interest you anymore.
Why do people keep trying to argue this when someone doesn't like a current season? Sure, that possibly plays a part, but sometimes seasons just don't work for people. And then along comes a Survivor: China or TAR12 that revitalizes the show and really gets you interested again. A show's age is probably the culprit for why so many people have tuned out from season to season (in general, not really BB) but for hardcore fans, there's hardly a rule that all seasons are of equal quality. And some of us just think this particular season is one of the weaker ones. Doesn't mean we like the overall show any less.
I mean, it's all relative. None of us have stopped watching AFAIK. I'd rather watch BB9 or Micronesia than 80% of what else is on TV. But comparing them to other seasons, I'm just not really feeling them. But hey, they both just started. For all I know, I'll start loving them in a week or two. I thought TAR12 was incredibly average until the last five episodes or so, and they were so good it pushed the season up a lot in my ranking.
