I wonder if Joel/Alexis/?? intentionally are playing a shorter term game, with the idea that as a pair they could go to a minority alliance of strong players, and become a majority (rather than sticking with a numerically larger alliance of weak Fan players).
But somehow, Alexis didn't vote with Joel this time. Either she is thinking for herself and breaking with Joel, or Joel didn't let her in on this one. Natalie did, however, vote with Joel.

Mikey is rooting for Alexis, so he must not be aware that Joel and Alexis made an alliance. So another possibility is that Alexis deliberately didn't vote for Mikey to keep the alliance hidden.
I knew Natalie was not going to betray Joel no matter what.
But Mikey knows about the Joel/Natalie alliance.
Mikey B (Chet): Even though it's obviously not you, Romper Room has gotten the best of me. Even though it's not you, probably, it seems Romper Room has gotten the best of us.
Apparently by the time Mikey B voted, he had figured out, thanks to the tribal council discussion, that Joel was going to backstab him and not vote out Chet. Romper Room??
