In a "foxhole" situation, a gay soldier is more likely to bail out, or run, or just plain not support his fellow soldiers.

This is precisely why I have nothing but seething hatred for Chet. He's reinforced so many of the negative stereotypes we gays have fought for years to overcome, and he seems right at home with the self-loathing, stereotypic queens from "The Boys in the Band." Forget Todd, Richard Hatch, JP, Brad, Rafe, and even Brandon - here's a milquetoast pansy that's lazy, self-pitying, and completely unable to integrate with anybody but the misfits. Every time he had a chance to show he was something more than the stereotype, he failed. And then he whined. Sorry, Princie... I normally agree with you whole-heartedly. But this f.ag doesn't deserve the benefit of the doubt. He deserves the derision of every last one of us gays who's managed to fight and win battles for acceptance and civil rights.
