If Randy didn't personally work on the record, it's not on his radar.

The texture of your post colored my afternoon with quality.

1. David Cook. That would have been top-notch even on a night when everyone was rocking their best.

2. Michael Johns. Took a difficult song and artist, and did not disgrace himself. After snoozing thru the previous performances, his woke me up.

3. Syesha. I really liked her this week, but I'm feeling like she doesn't have more to offer. She's competent but not standout.

4. Brooke. Now this one DOES have more, but she seems afraid to show it. Her performances are feeling a tad same-y.

5. Jason. Adorable. He's just happy to be here, and I'm happy to enjoy him being here even if he's not BIG & BOLD.

6. Kristy. Yeah, she pandered, but given it was a song from their birth year, it was one of the better choices for that kind of statement. It was the right time to pander, in my view, and I'm Canadian.

7. Carly. I'm just tired of her.

8. Chikezie. Just a regular performance from him is dull. Maybe that will make it more difficult for him but finding interesting ways to reinvent songs should be his #1 priority. Being boring is not going to work for him.

9. Ramiele. She's a singer by numbers. This bit loud, this bit soft, that bit really loud, then another soft bit. Zzz. Bye now.

10. Archilizard. I know he isn't going anywhere this week, but I would love it if he landed in the B3. I'm really tired of him. But then I'm not a teeny-bopper.

B3:
Brain: Chikezie, Ramiele, Kristy
Heart: Archilizard, Carly, Ramiele
Gut: Jason, Chikezie, Carly

My pick to leave: Ramiele.
