You two must be about 15 years old. That "dude" was Howard Lutnick, CEO of Cantor Fitzgerald, an important firm in the debt securities business and a primary trader of govt bonds. They lost nearly 700 employees on 9/11. Howard vowed to keep the firm going. As CEO, he probably makes well over $25 million per year.

You really should show more respect for his situation. His brother was among those killed. No one who was in their NYC office at the time of the attack survived.

First, if you're at all well-informed you would have heard the story in the aftermath of 9/11, as no other single company lost more employees than Cantor Fitzgerald; about 1/4 of the victims of 9/11 worked for that company. Second, if you were paying attention during the show they mentioned the story, including the fact that his brother was killed. Making flip comments about "some dude" who lost employees on 9/11 is tasteless.
