This is what happens when the show doesn't think viewers are paying attention. This happened last season when viewers didn't get that Jordin was
supposed to be the best ever. Around the top four. They made sure everyone else looked bad.
The men were supposed to be doing better than they are. The viewers were supposed to be getting rid of the people the show doesn't like. Since the viewers haven't followed the script the way they were supposed to, we get shows like tonight, with each and most of the women being told they suck no matter what, with Randy giving a standing ovation to a mediocre performance which happened to be by the show's favorite, and where pretty much everyone except Jason and Kristy acted as if they had survived some horrible cult experience.
I think the atmosphere is much more depressing than they counted on because their favorites, the Davids, are both very unhappy right now, David Cook because of his brother's cancer, and David Archuleta because of his father. That means there's no balance to the people the show beats down.
