7th place finishers have included one of the very best finalists ever (Jennifer) and one of the very worst (Sanjaya). The other five, including Kristy, have all been average and I think all of them deserved to finish somewhere around the middle. I do think Brooke should have gone last night instead, but it's not a travesty like Michael's booting was. Instead of whining, Kristy fans should be VERY happy she 1) made the top 12 at all (unlike Alaina and Kady); 2) made the tour; and 3) finished far enough in that she'll surely get signed by a country label and have an actual career (unlike Brooke and Syesha, who will be gone soon and vanish back into obscurity). Yes, she might have lasted another week or two, but in the long run it won't matter a bit.
