I agree. I hate the instruments as well. Allowing instruments totally gives a free pass to some of those less talented musicians who rely completely on their instruments to pull them through (think: Brooke and Jason). Allowing instruments was a dumb idea. Now the true singers are the ones falling behind because they don't have anything to back them up when they give a bad performance.
