I'm all for adding ALW to the panel. I found him to be amusing and I thought he gave good advice. Plus he said a few things I was thinking and he was forward without being rude to the contestants.

He basically said "open up your fucking eyes you stupid kid" and "no you Irish bitch, pick a fun song, we all know you can sing, show some fucking personality."
