Chelle - my husband is in the same boat. The dentist has been telling him to get 2 of his wisdom teeth out. Last visit the dentist said, "Look. Either you can schedule it for a Friday when you know you can lay around all weekend, or you're going to be scheduling an emergency surgery when it starts to hurt you. Your choice." Hubby is planning it for this summer.
