according to one of dan's interview, dan said he gave Terry many reasons not to vote him out, like austin and nick will never vote each other out etc, but Terry just didnt listen. i think dan was just trying to take up some responsibilties since he was really the one who screwed up, remember EDITING, dan was even trying to get nick to vote out austin, saying that he wanted to quit. not that i like dan (his secret of being astronaut is really laughable), but i didnt see him as quitter at all, he was just being betrayed by Terry.
