I have actually thought quite a bit about the idea that Amanda DID know that Ozzy was going to be voted out... and just sat back and let it happen. Even Ozzy knew he should have played the HII and didn't.... I am fairly sure that Amanda knew his concerns and thought it was quite probable that he would be booted. Last episode Amanda showed her acting skills... we saw it... then like Alexis... everyone was burned with it. Amanda, Cirie, and Parvati were talking on the raft before the merge about getting rid of the guys... Amanda knew it would happen and with Parvati going and making a co-alliance with Alexis and Natalie... she had to have known that they were aiming for those guys. Amanda essentially stayed true by not voting for Ozzy and getting "upset" when he was voted out.... keeping her close to James. She even got Parvati to apologize to HER and Amanda comes out smelling like roses.
Amanda is playing the game harder than MANY are giving her credit for... same as in China... however the difference is that this time... everyone has gotten a glimpse of just how good she is.
This is all just my opinion of how things have gone down. I don't want anyone to take this as me claiming it as fact. We won't know more until we actually get an interview with Amanda/Cire/Parvati after the finale. I am areally looking forward to these interviews so we can find out about all of this. I tend to think that she played along with Cire/Parvati, because if she refused she could be a target. Of course this is based on her saying she didn't trust Parvati and how upset she was at the merge.
When Her/Parvati made a final 3 alliance with Cire, they needed her vote. Remember people do that all time in this game. They needed Cire's 5th vote so Parvati wasn't voted out of the game. That was back when Jonathan was trying to get Parvati out. We didn't see if their was any final 3 deals with Amanda that included James or Ozzy. They might have been left out, because they didn't end up mattering all that much to the end game.
It sounds like James/Amanda had one, based on James's interviews.
James did ask Amanda to write Parvati's name down with him during Jason's eviction. However, Amanda new the plan to trick him into not using the idol. She wasn't going to not write Jason's name down and risk having James's evicted, if she wanted him to stay int he game.
Amanda never wanted the alliance with Alexis/Natalie, remember she wasn't happy about that at the merge. They showed her confessional where she said she didn't trust Parvati and didn't want an alliance with Alexis. She was pretty upset about it. She isn't going to go tell Parvati this is a bad idea have it get back to Alexis/Natalie and then put a target on her back. That isn't smart game play. I think her number one choice for an alliance was always the A/P/J/O alliance. She played along because she didn't want them to target her before the guys. Did she want James/Ozzy gone no, but she wasn't going to out herself to Natalie/Alexis/Parvati.
This is just my opinion, I think she thought that Parvati did that to keep Alexis/Natalie from flipping at the merge. She probably thought that Jason/Erik would be targeted first.
In I think it was Jason's interviews, he said that James didn't want an alliance with him. She knew that Jason was going before James, and so she figured might as well let Jason be voted out and have his idol taken out. This kept her both in good with the women and James. Jason was also an immunity threat, so why not let him get voted out? It increased the odds that they could win immunity.
Before James left, she wanted to go to exile island. Remember this happened before James left. Did she want the idol to help save James or not. That is the question. Obviously, That won't be answered until we can get some answers at the reunion show/interviews.
Ozzy said in his interviews that Parvati also betrayed Amanda/James. James said he wanted to go the final 3 with Amanda and either Parvati or Ozzy. So Both James/Ozzy see Amanda as a loyal alliance member.
After both Ozzy/James are gone Amanda had to play along to try to stay longer. I think that she considered herself part of the couple's alliance and played along with the women's alliance after that to try to stay longer.
She obviously realized once James was gone that she was on the outside of that alliance anyway. She figured that out once Erik won immunity and they where trying to vote her out.
