Well, I hadn't heard Yul was actually there and dropped. I had heard that Shane/Terry/Savage/Twila were there and dropped though.
I read somewhere that Tom was there but they sent him home.
I thought Tom was out of the Micronesia running long before they would have actually sent him there. Wasn't he the big shot who was demanding an appearance fee? Good riddance in my opinion.

And if you don't mind my asking, where did you read that all those people were there and then dropped? I also heard Shane/Terry/Twila were cut at the last minute (I remember the rumors about Savage but I thought that was just something that somebody here at Sucks had started - Like Tom, good riddance!), but I'd have to assume that the cast was finalized before they actually sent anybody out to Palau for filming.
