Yes but you can't predict what the future and know what kind of immunity challenge you will have. That is why he was dumb for not trying to improve his odds to win the last challenge. He kept Danielle thinking she would take him to the final 2. He had no reason to suddenly trust Danielle's word. So he should have at least tried to better his odds in the next immunity challenge and vote out Cire. Danielle/Aras/Cire where never going to take Terry to the final 2. Even if the results would have ended up the same with Terry losing the challenge, I think it was dumb for not trying to better his odds to win it. It isn't like he had a crystal ball to know this was one of the few challenges he would suck at.
