ice cream has shrunk here too, from 2 litres to 1.8. if only ice cream were sold by weight- a pint of premium IC weighs the same as a 2-L cheaper brand. the less air ice cream has in it, the better, and the more expensive. what a racket. for grins, I punched the air out of a container of ice cream recently, and the thing was less than half full when I was done compressing it.
chips also, used to come in 200g bags for the normal size, now it's down to 170, or even 150g. in some cases.
Whenever we buy icecream it is always full. Did you melt it first or something?
