I never, ever worry about resale value. I buy houses to live in and do not view them as investments. I am essentially looking for fixed rent and a place where I can have all the pets that I want. The fact that I walk away with equity is just a bonus.
out of all the ones I saw so far, that is the only one I am seriously considering because the seller is private and most willing to negotiate
