Never say die folks, it ain't over till it's over....and it's so not over yet (at least that's what I keep telling myself).
First, sorry this is so long. Thought perhaps you'd like to see some updates.

This is what is happening out there. This is a letter sent to Alex O'Loughlin's manager today by some tireless fans from another board;

"Mr. Hart,

We wanted to let you know that over the next several days there will be quite a bit of public fan-based support for Alex O'Loughlin from devoted (and very determined) Moonlight fans. Since the public announcement of the cancellation by CBS, the fans have reacted by focusing their outrage and shock into letter, email and phone campaigns towards the networks. However, since the fact that the majority of the show's fanbase is in the 21-50 age range (in other words, employed and with disposable income), these disappointed fans have decided to put their money where their mouths are.

On Wed., May 21st, there will be a full-page ad on page 2 of The Hollywood Reporter supporting Warner Bros and Silver Pictures' efforts to find a new network home for Moonlight. Included in the text will be comments focusing on Alex's talent and obvious audience appeal.

On Thur., May 22nd, there will be a full-page ad in Variety also encouraging other networks to pick up the series. Both ads are being paid for by donations gathered from fans in more than half a dozen countries.

On Fri., May 23rd, more than 100 Moonlight fans from around the globe will be out in front of Gate 3 of Warner Bros studio at 2:00PM to protest the cancellation and encourage Warner Bros and Silver Pictures to continue their efforts to secure a new home for Moonlight, with it's cast and crew intact. Entertainment media programs have received press releases informing them of this large gathering.

In addition, this Friday thru Sunday, there will be hundreds of Moonlight enthusiasts from various countries gathering at The Westin LAX for the MoonlightCon - a convention in celebration of the show, its cast and creative members. A number of writers, production staff and actors have been invited to attend.

Please let Alex know that we appreciate his incredible talent and dedication to this project over the past year and are determined to continue our efforts to secure a Season Two for Moonlight and the captivating character of Mick St. John.

Sincerely,"

It is also being sent to the managers of the other cast members. Word is (unconfirmed of course), that in today's Hollywood reporter there is a huge ad from Warner Bros. promoting their shows for Emmy consideration...Moonlight got picked for Outstanding Drama Series.

The official word from Silver Pictures: "Everybody's really diggin' the support". Talks are apparently still on with the CW.
