In terms of overproducing the show, that's where they have started to lose me. I have no tolerance for seasons with massive, complicated twists, huge casts, four tribes, multiple swaps, final 3 voting, double eliminations, etc. One the show becomes more about the twists and less about the players, that's where they start to lose me. When I said that I thought Guatemala, Exile Island, and Cook Islands were "shit" that was perhaps a bit too harsh. I just think those three seasons in particular were overproduced (too many twists), overcomplicated, and underedited.

I don't know if I'd say that about Guatemala :P In my eyes it was really Exile Island (with the 4 tribes, exile island, & hidden immunity idol) that really started the twist madness, which really went overboard in Cook Islands (with again 4 tribes organized by race, exile island, hidden immunity idol, double boot episode, bottle twist, late merge, and F3) and Fiji (have/have nots, immunity or haves camp choice, the merge that was not a merge, exile island, new HII rules, F3 once again) and so on through China and Micronesia. As for the underediting, I though the editing was for the most part fine in Guatemala, and a tad less in EI, but not really horrific like it was in Palau and Cook Islands especially. Oh well, that's just me. Having not become a fan of the show until its 11th season, I certainly come from a different perspective than one who started from the beginning. :P

Yay for Rafe-bashing! More Rafe-bashing!

Yaay! The more the better! :)
