To think I was a 19yo kid just starting college back when Elisabeth Filarski burst onto the scene. Ya think she even remembers what Rodger's last name is
nowadays? I would be absolutely shocked to learn that she keeps in touch with anybody remotely affiliated with 'Survivor' anymore.
I remember back when Lizzy was on the Rosie O'Donnell Show after Australian Outback and Rosie told her that she wasn't quite sure what to think of her and that headdress thing she was always wearing. Oh if only either of them had any idea what lay in store just a few years down the road...
Yeah from what I understand she never mentions 'Survivor' on 'The View', although I think I saw a clip of the show from a few years back where she briefly talked about how she turned down the offer to appear on ASS because she "felt that part of her life was over" and she needed to "move on" or some crap like that. That's incidentally the 3rd reason I've heard her give as to why she didn't appear on ASS - The first being because doctors told her she couldn't handle a 2nd go at it if she ever wanted to have kids, and the second being that she was just to intimidated to go and play with Hatch and all the other "big name" players. So whatever the actual reason is she didn't return to play ASS is any body's guess.
Now I'm gonna go dig through some old threads and see if I can find the post from Coby where he told that funny story about the time Lizzy called the 'Law & Order: SVU' offices all pissy about the character with a similar name as hers, and she ended up getting Rafe from 'Survivor: Guatemala' on the phone...
